a true story by Anr~

A terrifying night, cold and dark. There were no stars on the sky, the moon refused to rise.
The trees were pretending to be dead, animals were pretending to be deaf.
Everything was still, am so was I.. but it wouldn't change anything, the Gods know it didn't.

Steps were heard, echoing in the eternal silence of that house.. the Light was following them.
I was hidden in the dark, laying still, barely breathing, reduced to an almost non-living thing, but I still could be seen.
I could be seen and I was wanted, I had some sort of aura around me, attracting the evil, attracting the bad, I couldn't avoid it.

The steps were closer, my hands were trembling, the tears running away from my eyes in despair.
A bump, an open door, bright light -BOOM-.. locked. A key thrown away, an evil smile on someone's face, a look of mercy on mine.

"Oh, please God help me!"
