A low fire cracked in the hearth, but the study felt cold. Rain tapped against the stained-glass windows and the scent of salt hung in the air like a warning.

The door creaked open. A clerk stepped in, soaked to the knees, his voice low and uncertain. “Mac… the ships were supposed to return two weeks ago. We must assume the worst.”

Once, in the marble-lined quarters of Carlin’s Merchant District, Mac Stonkchopper lived like a king, indulging in theatre, wine, and the quiet splendor of the city. His days were spent studying cargo ledgers and shipping manifests, his evenings drifting between velvet-draped balconies and whispered deals in the back rooms of the Carlin aristocracy. The sea brought him riches — with stocks in spice freighters and bonds tied to the tide.

But the sea gives and the sea takes.

One stormy dusk, two of Mac’s prized ships – The Profit Wyrm and Dividend Hydra – sank off the coast of Svargrond. No cargo was recovered, and no sailors returned. Debt came quickly. And not the kind from Carlin’s polite parlours – this was Venorean debt, owed to seafarers who collect in coin or blood. Mac was stripped of his estate, his accounts frozen, his name cursed.

So he did the only thing left for him to do. He opened the old chest that had been tucked away in the corner of his old study – the one he hadn’t touched since his father’s funeral. Inside: a battered axe, wrapped in oilcloth, and a faded crest etched with “Stonkchopper” – the name once carried by both bankers and warriors.

Now Mac roams Antica fighting for coin, honor, and to repay his debts. Every dragon felled, every treasure chest unearthed, every cursed tomb looted brings him closer to freedom. He was once a man of numbers. Now he’s a man of steel. And the ledger’s not balanced yet…

Outside of Tibia, I am Adrian, 34 years old and based in Stockholm with my wife and dog. I work in investor relations, which keeps me busy – though luckily, Tibia remains a perfect way to unwind. I’m a massive sports fan (which probably brings more frustration than joy), an avid book reader and a sucker for the occasional music quiz.

I have been playing Tibia on and off since around 2002, and I mostly played on Lunara with friends from my hometown back in the day. I recently returned to Tibia with the release of Sonira and, as luck would have it, a few very friendly encounters led me to Antica. Mac Stonkchopper is my first char on Antica ever and I was happily surprised to find it very much alive and with a healthy community – of which Red Rose is truly a great example.

To me, Red Rose is the embodiment of Tibia – community-oriented and driven by tradition, respect and camaraderie. Since getting back into Tibia, I’ve had the pleasure of talking to a few members of Red Rose, all of whom have been very friendly and helpful. The great thing about Tibia is the friendships you build, and I look forward to getting to know you even more as I roam the ancient lands of Antica. I bring loyalty, curiosity and hopefully the occasional laugh. I’d love to contribute not only by being a reliable and respectful guildmate, but also by supporting events or helping newer players whenever I can.
