We appreciate your interest in becoming a part of the Red Rose. All applications are taken seriously, and the opportunity to apply is open to all Anticans. However, only those who demonstrate genuine character, humility, and commitment will be considered for Noviciumship within one of the oldest guilds in Tibia.
The application process is demanding, and only a small number of applicants are accepted. With this in mind, the following guide is intended to help you present yourself clearly, honestly, and with purpose.
Before applying, you are required to read:
The Red Rose Codices
Failure to do so will be reflected in your application.
What Your Application Must Contain1. Character and Player Information
Provide information about the character you play — such as creation date, playstyle, previous guilds, and relevant roleplay background — as well as some information about yourself as a person.
(Levels, skills, wealth, and power are not relevant and should not be included.)
2. Why You Seek to Join the Red Rose
Explain why you believe you belong in the Red Rose. Demonstrate that you understand our values, traditions, and expectations.
You are expected to reflect on:
- Why the Red Rose is the right guild for you,
- What you believe you can contribute over time,
- Why you are prepared to be tested as a Novicium.
Submit a piece of writing created by you. This may take the form of:
- A roleplaying story set in Tibia,
- A personal story,
- Or a poem.
4. Readiness for Noviciumship
Describe how you approach responsibility, discipline, and long-term commitment.
Your application should make it clear that you understand that:
- Noviciumship lasts at least five months, often longer,
- You will be assigned tasks by your Mentor and the Magister Noviciorum,
- Tasks may involve roleplay, powergaming, organising events, or written work,
- Tasks are expected to be completed within given timeframes and to an appropriate standard.
Anything else you wish to share. This is your opportunity to show sincerity, reflection, and individuality.
After You ApplySubmitting an application is only the beginning.
After posting, you are expected to take initiative and present yourself to the guild. Speak with members of the Red Rose, introduce yourself, and make an effort to get to know as many of us as possible. Your conduct and initiative during this period are part of the evaluation.
When an application is submitted, the Inscribator will initiate an internal review in which members of the Red Rose are invited to share their impressions and views. During this period, the Inscribator will also contact the applicant to conduct The Inscribator Interview, which will be published for all Red Rose members to review and reflect upon. After approximately ten days, the Inscribator will decide whether the applicant will be invited to the Crossfire.
Because members’ voices carry significant weight in this decision, it is in your interest to be visible, sincere, and engaged. A quiet application followed by silence will rarely be persuasive.
Final AdviceApplications that are vague, incomplete, or show a lack of preparation will most likely be denied. Take your time. Be thorough. Be honest.
If you submit an application, you are stating that you are ready to be evaluated — not only as a player, but as a person.
— The Red Rose
