My name is Iskold. I first stepped into the lands of Antica many years ago, during a time when the world felt much larger, my own journey was just beginning, and life felt simpler. Like so many others, life eventually pulled me away, but Tibia never truly left my mind; it remained a quiet memory in the background of all those years. Returning this February felt strangely like coming home, yet everything felt different—I am sure many of you know exactly what I mean. I find myself moving through the world with a new sense of calm now, appreciating the steady rhythm of the game in a way I didn’t when I was younger.

The Man and the Blade
I’m Pontus, 33 years old living with my fiancée in the south of Sweden.
The name Iskold is a nod to my Danish grandfather. I am Swedish, but I wanted to carry a piece of my Danish heritage with me on this journey.
While I enjoy the progression and the thrill of a hunt, what I have come to value most since my return is the social aspect of the game. Tibia is at its best when shared—whether through a random conversation by the depot, a shared hunt, or simply seeing familiar names appear online.
Why I Seek the Path of the Rose
Red Rose is a name that carries weight on Antica, a guild every Tibia player knows, not because it is the loudest, but because it is the most rooted. In a world where guilds often appear and vanish like mist, Red Rose has remained a constant since 1998. What draws me here is not just your history, but your identity—the way you prioritize people, shared experiences, and long-term presence over short-term gains.
After returning, I had the pleasure of crossing paths with a few of your members. Those natural interactions gave me a glimpse into a community where I felt I could truly belong.
Lore: The Echoes of a Shield
When Iskold returned to Antica, it was not to chase ghosts or reclaim lost glory. He returned because some places stay with you, etched into the mind like salt on stone. The roads were familiar, but he moved through the streets of Tibia with different eyes. Older, quieter, and wiser. To him, the shield is not just a tool; it is a choice to be the one who stands firm for others, someone to rely on. Somewhere along those old roads, among the familiar faces and quiet conversations, the world started to feel like a place to remain, not just to visit.
Readiness for Noviciumship
I have studied the Red Rose Codices and I understand that Noviciumship is a significant commitment. It is a process that requires time, effort, and a willingness to be tested properly. I respect this deeply; it is part of what makes the Red Rose stand out. I am prepared for the expectations and the mentorship that lies ahead. I would much rather earn my place through consistency and sincerity than be handed anything too quickly.
A Final Note
Tibia has been a companion to me for a large part of my life, even during the years I spent away. Coming back has reminded me that while the game itself is the foundation, it is the people who give the world its color. If given the chance to begin my Noviciumship, I look forward to proving my character and becoming a part of your community.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Respectfully,
Iskold
