Brynolf greets you all! [Denied]

Yes, honorable Red Roses, tis' indeed me, Brynolf, here to humbly ask for a place at your table. Since you were kind enough to provide a template for how to do this, I'll go at it right away!
1) Character information
Since it was before the dawn of the account system there is unfortunately there is no way to find out exactly when Brynolf was created (except asking the Gods, perhaps?). I think it was 98', but it might have been 99'.
Brynolf could have one foe in present day Tibia, a most unpleasant sorcerer named Yokin, but i don't believe it's that serious. Other than that he is pretty much alone, having survived all of his old friends. Only Mad Fist Willy of the Black Dragons has survived the tides of time, and I'm lucky to have him here to guide me.
Since I am such an "Old Relic" (http://www.tibianews.net/component/cont ... guild.html), I am not sure what I like to do in present day tibia. I was always a knight that lived for my friends more than anything else, and now that they are all gone, I'm left with a new world in which I am rather lost. This is also partly the reason why I want to join the RR, I hope you will take me along to see all that is new and beautiful in Tibia, aswell as that which is foul and needs slayin' . I also very much so enjoy events and gatherings, however small. I already got a taste of that when I went to the Thais museum with four or five Roses, topping it off with the old custom of hanging out at the crossroads.
2) Why would you like to join the Red Rose / What do you know about us
I have always admired the Red Roses, and Brynolf has had close relations to Fibula and the Mercenaries, two of his best friends, Angloma and Tirian, being members. The RR always seemed like this mythical establishment from the dawn of the world, having one of the very few original guild houses and a shield with their name and weapon. It has been a long time past since the creation of this guild, and something surviving and keeping true to their values for such an extended period of time is truly worthy of admiration.
3) Story
I was made an orphan in my very early days, leaving me with only distant memories of my family that seem more like a dream than reality today. My father and mother was simple people, with no means to defend themselves against the pillaging orcs that raided my village and slayed everyone I knew. While my mother hid me in a cupboard, I was spared of an early fate. An old friend of the family, a crippled old retired knight, found me still hiding in the cupboard two days later. He took me in and raised me best he could.
The old man had layed down his sword in order to work as an in-keeper, and I was raised in a tavern - it has left me with an inherent love for wine and festivity. The in-keeper was however also an old warrior, having only retired to the tavern after he was crippled in battle. He tought me how to manage a sword and to fend for myself.
As I grew older I began to long for the outside world, as the in-keeper told me stories of the lands beyond the mountains. The longing for adventure grew in my heart, until one day, as a teenager, I embarked upon a journey for the these lands. After much hardship and hiding from cyclopses, I arrived in Thais. Knowing not what to do, I seeked out a the only place I felt at home - the tavern. Frodo would feed me in exchange for my labor, but leaving one tavern for another was not my plan when leaving home. After a short time had passed I met what would become my eternal companions. They were also young bucks having left their family for the dreams of glory, and together we grew in strenght and skill.
Time passed and we eventually became respected and well known knights, paladins and mages of Thais. While my friends went on to become members of mighty guilds, such as the Mercenaries and the Knights of the Round Table, I became more humble and my thirst for glory diminished. I assisted my friends best I could when I was asked, but eventually I moved away from the big city and bought a newly built house on the peaceful island of Cormaya. There are many stories from my early years, and I will gladly share with anyone that wishes to listen. They are however not important in bigger context of my life.
Eight years ago, having had peaceful years and much time for contemplation, I decided to journey back to visit the old man in the tavern where I was raised, and so I bought a boat with the wealth I had accumulated over the years. Something went terribly wrong on this journey. I might share with you my horrible fate someday, but for now just know that I am alive and back.
The world has changed so much since I left, there are so many people and new lands discovered, and it all fills me with the same lust for adventure I had as a young man. I have yet to meet any of my old companions, and I fear they are gone for good. But seeing the Red Roses' eternal presence on Fibula gives me hope, that some things doesn't change, and there is still time to find new companions and seek out adventure yet again!
