A dream...

I woke up in the middle of the night on a cold sweat. The only thing I could see on the half-light of my hut was my magic sword resting on the wall in front of my bed. I couldn't remember what I was dreaming, but I was exalted. I lighted a candle on my table and started searching for a bottle of wine and some bread to eat. While I was eating the crunchy bread and drinking from a golden mug, I decided to take a walk around Edron to breathe the clean air of the night. I carried my backpack and filled it with some arrows and my bow, and something told me to take my magic sword with me, so I carried it on my back.
When I got out of my house I noticed the beauty of the night on Edron, the street lamps were off, and I could see the stars in the sky as bright as they never were. I walked through the dusty earth streets contemplating the sleeping city, I didn't see anyone, just a few weak lights that came from inside some houses in the distance, and some sleeping dogs by the central circle area. I kept walking to the north, and decided to walk a bit on the forest. The trees and bushes started surrounding me, and I saw some bears, but they seemed more interested on eating leaves from the trees than to attack me. At some point I stopped on a lake to drink some fresh water. I watched my own face reflected on the water, and the moon and the stars on that natural mirror, mixed with the small rocks of the bottom. I decided to sit on a rock by the river to rest for a while, but then I noticed something shinning with the moonlight under the water. I knelt down and took this object, it was a beautiful golden ring, with a small crystal on it. It looked like that it had been there for a while, it had some musk on it, so I cleaned it up and put it on my ring finger. I decided to walk for a bit more, maybe find some blue berries bushes to eat before going back to home, when I heard some strange music coming from between the trees. I walked trying to follow this sound, the closer I was getting to it, the sound was getting clear, it was a female voice, singing some sad melody in the company of some string instrument. I was surprised, but for some reason I was a bit scared, so I walked slowly trying to not make a sound. I finally saw some pale white light coming from a clearing, and I saw this ghostly girl sitting on a log, playing a lute and singing some old song. The beauty of this lady was illogical, I was under some kind of charming while I watched her, and I accidentally stepped on a branch that made a sound and she stopped playing and singing.

- Who's there?
She said on a sweet voice. I came from behind the tree finally letting she see me.

- Sorry beautiful lady, I was walking around the forest and I followed your voice... I tought you may be lost, and needed some help...
I said, trying not to sound scared.

- Come here young man, sit by my side, I'll tell you my story, but I'll sing it on a song...

I sat down on the log by the ghost woman's side, and I heard something of an enormous beauty, that no words can describe. She sang her story, but the story wasn't told by words, it was just melodies, and while she was singing, I could feel all that she was telling me as it was happening to myself.
She sang a story, the story about how she was born and grew up on a farm, far away from this lands.., how she found the love of her life and how the tragedy tore her away from her love, and how she died of sadness long time ago.

My mind was gone and I didn't notice she stopped.

- Are you allright? - She asked
- Oh ... Yes lady... I'm just a bit disturbed.

She seemed to feel embarassed by my words.

- Sorry lady, I didn't mean to make you feel unconfortable, I'm just amazed by your melodies and your story, and I wish I could do something to help you...

- The only way you could help me, young man, is to find my husband's weeding ring. The ring is all I need to finally go away from this world, to my husband's side, otherwise I will walk alone on this forest eternally.
I lost it when I was filling my jar with water on a river near this forest... I've searched for a long time, and nothing is what I've found. I think the water of the river took the ring to the big seas.. I belive that all searching is in vain.

Suddenly I tought about the ring I recently had found on the river.
I said:
- Does your ring looks like this one?

Her eyes opened wide and she took my hand, she looked the ring and she closed her eyes. I think I felt a few tears falling on my skin.

- Take it, beautiful lady... Set yourself free.

She looked at me and touched my face and smiled. I took the ring out of my finger and put it on her hand, and I closed her hand.

- This you have done for me I will always remember, young man...
She said, and then she kissed my forehead. A huge white light surrounded me.

I was walking on a forest. They were waiting for me. On a stone table was my magic sword and my bow. I could only see two persons waiting on the other side of the table, I didn't watch them, but I knew who they were.

I bowed.

- Take your sword of valor, young man.
Banor said.

- Your have a pure soul, so I bless your sword. I will be your shield everytime you need protection. I will clean your wounds and guide your arrows until it's your time to come by my side.

The beautiful lady I found in the forest was by His side, she smiled.

I woke up with the morning sun, I was feeling like I slept for a year and somehow, I had a happiness feeling.
What a dream.. - I tought while I watched my magic sword on the wall in front of my bed.

I went to my table and sat on the chair, took some bread and milk and started eating. Rays of morning sun light were entering through the window and I heard the sound of people walking and talking outside on the casle street.

Then suddenly I noticed something that left me frozen. By my bed, there was the ghostly woman's old lute, the instrument seemed to be magically playing a beatiful music from inside every time you looked it.
