Welcome to the Freemier League! This thread contains all the relevant information towards the 2020 Freemier League, such as rules, teams participating, games and, of course, general information.
In order to sign up your guild's team, you will need:
- A level 8 character with Premium Account;
- A minimun of 5 and a maximun of 10 players for the team (the coach is optional and isn't counted on the 10 players);
- To answer this thread and/or send a letter to Cotelaria containing all the required information (check this list and also the rules);
After the confirmation of your team's registration a kit containing some items will be sent to the participant chars. A dwarven pickaxe will also be sent, so there is no problem if your level 8 character doesn't have Yalahar access, the Red Rose will provide the access through the kit.
Rules
General Rules
-Every team must choose a name, at least two different uniforms (A and B) and, if possible, a logo (all of this information may be posted on this thread as a reply);
-Only level 8 characters will be allowed to participate;
-If a guild doesn't have enough members to participate on the league, the guild can mix with another guild (only two guilds can mix per team) and form one team to participate;
-No items, potions, special food, spells or anything that increases speed will be allowed;
-The participants must attend the event without any items on. A special bag will be given to them.
-The Freemier League will be open for friendly guilds;
-The Freemier League will be divided in seasons;
-The matches will be divided in two times of 5 minutes;
-The teams are allowed to have their own coach;
-Each team can sign up a maximun of 10 players and a minimun of 5 players (the coach doesn't count).
Ingame rules
-The matches are 5v5;
-Every match will occur at Yalahar soccer field;
-Each invited guild can have a maximun of 1 team participating in the League;
-One player must be the goalkeeper and never leave the area;
-If a goalkeeper touches the ball outside the area it will be considered foul;
-Every game will have at least one referee;
-The referee's decision is final;
-Only 2 substitutions can be done per game;
-Points: win (3 points), draw (1 point), loss (0 point);
-The winner will be the team with more points at the end of the season;
-Each season will be divided in two turns. All teams will play against each other twice (first turn and second turn).
Important
It's important to remind that the event is a CLOSED event. As mentioned before, the matches will occur at the Yalahar soccer field, which is a public space, even though it is PZ in most of it. Due to this, the schedule of the weekend matches will not be announced much time earlier, we will make this to avoid any troublemaker (even though this may not be effective). Thus, we would like to ask you to keep the League matches and times on low profile to also avoid troublemakers and major problems. This league is made entirely for the community, but we have to take some precautions in order for everyone to have fun. One last important tip: as soon as you create your level 8 character or receive the kit, "park" it on the yalahar soccer field so we can make things faster. May the best team win!
