On Learning of Nashir’s Promotion to the Rank of Inceptor
(To be sung aloud to the tunes of this cheerful march).
’Tis time for celebration
Within the red, Red Rose!
But what is the occasion?
Why, that the roster grows!
For today, at last, has been declared
The end of her career
As a novice of the Red Rose:
The Inceptor known as Nashir!
And may her Senjan village
Stay safe from thieves and foes,
From plunder and from pillage,
And wicked things like those.
For today, the time has come to take
The ship’s wheel and to steer!
Once a novice of the Red Rose:
The Inceptor known as Nashir!
We hope she will remember
The times we used to spend,
Our hopes to turn ”full member”
And the bonds that never end.
And perhaps these little lyrics may
Act like a souvenir
From her time with the Novicia:
The Inceptor known as Nashir!
