First name: Olfer
Family name: Heas Caemorius
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Place of birth: Rookgaard
Faith: Banor
Culture: Thaian
Born and raised in a small fishing village on the island of Rookgaard, part of the bay of Thais, Olfer was the only son of a fisherman and small farmer named Pammeus Heas. The whereabouts of his mother are completely unknown, and the subject is never discussed by his father, who would move mountains to avoid talking about it.
Olfer Caemorius was always a studious and affectionate boy. He was proud of his father and would tell everyone at school about his father’s profession, claiming that one day he would be just like him — hardworking, honest, and ready to start a family. Alongside his attachment to his father, Olfer was equally attached to books. He learned to read at a relatively early age, around five or six years old, when he started attending a small school in his village. There, he was encouraged not only to read but also to draw, work with clay, flour, and dough; study child-friendly agriculture; as well as learn basic sciences and history.
As the years passed, Olfer joined his father in farming and fishing, spending many days at sea with a book always in his backpack. During their fishing trips, he often heard stories from the fishermen — it is said that you should never believe everything a fisherman tells you. Some of the stories were funny, others were rather frightening, such as the sighting of a Mermaid on a rock brushing her long hair, or giant Serpents and Squids that could swallow a small boat in seconds. A small, torn map on the boat even showed the farthest point his father had navigated, with surprisingly well-drawn depictions of the alleged creatures they had seen.

The torn map
However, no terrifying story about the monsters of the “many seas” could break the charm of having seen the rich, vibrant, and pulsating continent of Thais for the first time during his first fishing trip. Even from afar, in his small boat, you could see the sparkle in Olfer's eyes from miles away.
Noticing the gleam in his son’s eyes, his father said at that moment:
“Rich and fertile land, yet it brings many dangers.”
The boy seemed not to care about the imminent dangers, he just wanted to be there.

A letter left for his father on the kitchen table
Before leaving, Olfer consulted a well-known Oracle in the old village. He had never been there before, but he had heard many stories about a spirit residing in an angel-shaped statue. The elders said its wisdom was infinite, and many warriors had passed through it.
After hearing its advice and accepting it, Olfer was magically teleported to the Island of Destiny, where he encountered various leaders from many vocations. With a certain confidence in his heart, he knew he wanted to become a great Knight, just like he had read in his history books. He went straight to the leader of the Knights, and with all his vigor and courage, he accepted the call. He had to choose from many weapons, but the one that enchanted him the most was the axe — well-designed, with sharp blades, its steel gleaming in the light of the hall.
Heading towards the nearest port, Olfer spoke with Captain Pirate Kurt, who took him to the peninsula of Thais — a long journey, to say the least.
Arriving at the old continent, despite the exhaustion from the long trip, Olfer Caemorius felt his heart race, while also feeling tight in his chest — thinking of his old father left behind in Rookgaard — but excited about the journey ahead, and who knows, maybe one day completing the old torn map he had taken from his father’s boat, which now rests in his backpack.
