Greetings to you all within the Red Rose.
1. Character/Player Information
My ingame name is Valyn Khane and was created 2018 when I had small comeback to the lands of Tibia. Valyn has never been in any guild and have lived his life alone in peace fighting the dark creatures that are lurking around in the depths of the world.
My real name is Markus, I'm from Sweden and due to family situation and small kids I had to go into a deep sleep and retirement, untill now when I feel that I once again have time to play the game I fell in love with when I was a young boy.
In the past I was very active, between 99 and 2007 I lived Tibia, as I guess many of you also have done and we all know the feeling I'm talking about.
After that life took over and Tibia had to be replaced with other dutys.
2. Why do you want to join Red Rose
Red Rose for me is very nostalgic, I have many memories running around in Fibula watching the great tower and speaking to alot of old noble warriors of the rose. Red Rose is also and have been the whole time very mysterious for me, with true legends and tales that I have been following even those years not playing. I'm looking for a home right now and it would be a great honour to be a small part of the future story, as well as protecting the past.
3. Roleplaying Story
Title: The Awakening of Valyn Khane
Chapter I – The Slumber Ends
The wind howled through the withered pines of the Forgotten Glade, a place long untouched by time—or mercy. Deep beneath its roots, in the catacombs of an ancient shrine, the air stirred for the first time in seven years. A breath, sharp and cold, broke the silence.
Valyn Khane opened his eyes.
Entombed in crystal sleep since the fall of Carlin’s Eastern Wall, his body had been preserved by ancient druidic magic. His slumber was not a punishment, but a promise: he would return only when the time was right—when the world needed him most.
Now, with the scent of ash on the air and the balance of the realms faltering, the time had come.
Chapter II – The Legacy of Jareth Khane
Valyn’s grandfather, Jareth Khane, had been a revered guardian of the lands, a knight not by title but by deed. He taught that true strength was not measured by the blade, but by the heart behind it. Before his death, Jareth whispered one final wish into Valyn’s ear:
"Do not rise for vengeance... rise for hope. Help those who cannot help themselves. Protect the weak. Be the shield this world forgot it needed."
That vow had bound Valyn to his long sleep—to awaken only when Tibia’s light began to fade.
Chapter III – Shadows Over Tibia
The land he returned to was not the one he remembered.
Thais stood proud, but corrupt merchants controlled its gates. Carlin was fractured, with rogue factions ruling from the shadows. Venore’s once-thriving trade routes were now haunted by creatures from beyond the swamps, and the forests whispered of demons stirring in the deep.
Everywhere he looked, the strong preyed on the weak. Innocents suffered while kings squabbled over gold. Valyn’s heart burned with purpose.
Chapter IV – The Oath Renewed
Wielding his grandfather’s reforged blade, Vigilance, and donning armor etched with the sigil of the Khane family—a silver hawk beneath a golden sun—Valyn journeyed across Tibia.
He rescued a village from marauding warbands in the Shadow Highlands, stood between a mother and a drake in the Scorched Plains, and quelled a rebellion in Kazordoon not with violence, but with truth and unity.
Each act was a prayer. Each life saved, a tribute to the legacy of Jareth Khane.
Chapter V – The Gathering Storm
Yet darker things stirred beyond the mortal realm. Rumors spoke of a figure known only as The Hollow King, raising the dead and bending lost souls to his will. Portals cracked the sky in Zao, and magic itself trembled.
Valyn knew this was no longer about memory or honor. This was about fate.
And so, as the banners of evil were raised across Tibia, the people began to whisper a name once thought forgotten—a name rising like dawn after endless night.
Valyn Khane. The Guardian Reborn.
4. A Personal Touch
I'm up for the test, I know Tibia is a complete different game now since I really stopped playing 2007 even tho I had a small fallback 2018.
I have a lot to learn and are willing to do it the right way.
If I missed anything important or if there is any questions, please get back to me.
Best regards,
Valyn Khane,
