Hello Roses! Many of you are familiar with my Paladin, Akishiro.
I'd like to formally introduce myself as Tyler, a freelance videographer based in the South Eastern, US. I picked up Tibia very early on when I was a teenager and was able to experience the glory and golden age of the 7.6 update. When I'm not cave dwelling and playing Tibia I'm hiking, exploring urban areas, catching a beer at a local bar with friends, or enjoying live music.
I started my journey as a noble knight named Volgowrath in the world of Titania. After experiencing the week long journey through Rookgaard, I finally made the trek to the mainland landing in Carlin. As a welcome to the city I was promptly attacked by player killers and having not explored the city much I wasn't familiar where to get to safety.
Lucky for me a stranger whom I'll never forget was passing by, Roland Crusade, with ease he dispatched the would be killers and moved on about his day. This inspired this novice of a knight to become stronger and protect the weak and kept me playing despite the difficulties faced upon death. Eventually, having explored Carlin, Ab'dendriel, Kazordoon, Venore, and Thais. I found my true love for this city and made it my home, my base of operations. I always returned to the busy city streets and talking with the locals after long hunts in Edron or other cities. The following years brought many friends, challenges, and the opportunity to watch a guild called Unit wage war on Titania.
I retired having been introduced to World of Warcraft and I recently returned early in January of 2024. Ironically, upon returning to the game as a Paladin I found myself in Thais being attacked by a player killer yet again. This time no Roland Crusade to save me but the guy did show a small bit of mercy as he realized I was absolutely useless in PvP. He gave me some gear, money, and introduced me to Vizhen who often would be sitting in his house in Thais south of the Paladin's Guild & Depo. This solidified my return to Tibia as I met a fellow American and I was able to get a foothold into the game with some assistance from Vizhen and how I became apart of Below/Above.
Since my return I have involved myself in the pursuit of exploring the lands of Tibia and those that we continue to discover. Once I sought to find an organized team for killing bosses and pursuing quests my friend Marlon who I met in Above introduced me to Satori. This is where I developed my boss knowledge and pursued more dangerous quests. Our friends Scrooge, Faija, and others ended up joining us as they too wanted to experience more challenging content.
During my travels I continued to bump into a fellow Rose, Dama Blackheart. When we weren't "stealing" hunting grounds from each other I would be trying to convince her to duo with me. It took months of convincing that Knights and Paladin's could effectively hunt together but having experienced hunting with Knights since a low level, I finally was able to lure her into a hunt. This started the current era that some may be familiar with of a dynamic duo tearing up hunting grounds, completing quests, and killing deadly bosses. If I'm not hunting or helping my friends in Red Rose, Satori, or Black Dragons then you can find me in Thais rearranging the deco in my house only to set it back to the way I had it before.


I'm aware that Red Rose is an old and respected Guild with a deep, rich history where the members value peace, honor, and respect. There are multiple Codex to be used as guidelines for applicants and members.
I am interested in joining Red Rose for the aspect of the community within the Guild and what it represents to the Antican community. Since returning to Tibia I realize that majority of us stay because of the friendships that we make during our time here. Individually, we seek a place of peace away from our careers and enjoyment in our hobbies and we end up forging bonds with others while walking our individual paths. These bonds become strong ties and we form small families out of the friends we make along the way. As someone who has lost those I would call family, these types of bonds are important to me and I do what I can to foster environments where these types of bonds can form. Having become close to some Roses and gone through some hardships I have discovered such an environment exists within this community. I hope to become apart of this family and contribute in whatever way I can.





As morning light reaches between the trees of Ab'dendriel a stray beam finds Akishiro's face to wake him from his slumber. With a big stretch the paladin quickly grabs his bow and equipment to head out on a daring adventure. Locals tell of rumors where an old knight dropped a weapon of great value having fallen prey to the beasts within. Closing the door to his home, Akishiro heads south to the city of Thais to the caves just north of the gates. Being an experienced hunter, the rumors of dragons deep within the caves did not shake Akishiro's iron resolve. The only concern was the map provided by the drunken dwarf in Kazordoon's tavern...perhaps the dwarf provided a map to one of the many local mines that litter the area. The opportunity of profit drove the paladins drive and he dismissed any feeling of doubt, now was the time to focus on the task at hand. Before him stood a gaping cavern entrance, as he lit his torch he could hear the growls of trolls below. Having made easy work of the trolls blocking his way Akishiro finally made it to an ancient part of the caves where an old, rotting sign could be seen in the torch light, "dragons lair ahead, turn back". With a sigh and wiping his brow of sweat, Akishiro delved into the Dragons dwelling. After felling multiple dragons and avoiding death, corpses of dragons littered the area and Akishiro was able to push deeper into the cavern. Upon coming around a final bend with confidence swelling within Akishiro a cold shiver went down his spine as his instincts kicked in and a giant roar came from deeper within the cave...it was unmistakable...a Dragon Lord. Before Akishiro could react a giant fireball went past him, smashing into the wall past him...it knew he was there. Looking down at the pendant on his chest his thoughts went back to home and the one who was waiting for his return. Confidence swelled within him; his breathing slowed, eyes became focused, and his hands steadied. Throwing down the torch, Akishiro notches an arrow and with a final breath turns the corner to face his foe....destiny awaits.

It would be an honor to join this Guild and become a deeper part of the community and contribute to the culture within. I hope to bring my expertise in bosses, hunting, and quests to help others become more comfortable in this space and explore Tibia together.
