1- Character/Player Info:
My character is Nanvî. He's an Elite Knight level 92. I recently created my account on december 2024, since i started to play Tibia again with my counsins. My first steps in Tibia were at 2007 i think, and yes, a lot of things have changed these years, but i believe RPG is not dead.
In game i play mostly with my counsins "Man Bar" and "Helograw Ult", and i've made a new friend: "Sidney Beauclair"
About my playstyle: I'm an RPG player who is hungry for adventure. I love to play and explore alone, but i love to do quests (specially those that are very hard to do) with friends. I also enjoy so much PvE content, more than PvP or other things. My goal in Tibia is to explore, to unlock the map, to fill my bestiary and things like that makes me love this game that has survived every other MMORPG launch.
About myself: My name is Iván Matán, I'm 31 years old. I'm from Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. I love Lord Of The Rings, specially, the dwarven culture. My hobbies are exercise, read and watch tv series and animes. I'm happily married.
2- Why do you want to join the Red Rose:
The reason is quite simple and kind of funny haha, you can even ask Sidney about the details. I believe my character's background story (you will read it soon), could match with Followers Of Kazordoon (since my character is a dwarf). So one day i reached Oxiput in game and i don't know exactly why i started to talk to him but we chat for a few minutes about Tibia history, the wars, and these videos of Antica from Tibia Reklav. I know that Satori is ally of the Followers Of Kazordoon so days later i asked Oxiput about them and he told me that is really hard to catch them in game since they are not as active as they used to be. He told me to write in Tibia's Forum and maybe they will contact me. So i did it. I wrote a topic about it, but my topic was erased and i got this "Rule Violation Record contains minor or expiring entries." Because i didn't know, but apparently i can't write things like that haha. Well, by mere luck, Sidney saw my topic before it was erased and she contacted me in game. I don't know exactly what she saw on me but i truly appreciate it. Because of her approachment, i'm writing this right now, because she offered me her friendship and treated me like one of yours since then. I believe that Red Rose is a great guild because of its history, but even more, for the people in its ranks.
Whether you find me worthy to join you or not, i really appreciate your time, and i'm thankful to Sidney and to you guys for this opportunity.
3- Roleplaying style:
I hope you enjoy it. I put so much effort in this, so here we go...
The Saga of Nanvî
Many years ago, when the mountains still echoed with the names of ancient kings and the forge-fires burned
bright, two sister-tribes of dwarves lived in harmony beneath Beregar. One remained in the heart of their
ancestral halls; the other, drawn by the call of deeper stone and new frontiers, left -not in exile, but in hope.
After years of hardship and wandering, some of these dwarves founded Kazordoon, destined to become the
greatest dwarven stronghold in Tibia. Among the leaders of the expedition were General Kruzak, who would
later become Emperor, heir of Durin; General Refr Quicksilver, second in charge; General Ángar Irongut;
and General Khîm the Great Hammer -a blacksmith, warrior, and father. At his side walked his son, Nanvî, a
young warrior, unusually tall for his kin and hungry for adventure.
Ten years into their journey, disaster struck.
In what would come to be known as The Great Collapse, entire tunnels fell into ruin. While the first
company -led by Kruzak and Refr- could continued with their expedition, the second company, under Ángar and Khîm,
was buried and lost in the deep. These dwarves became known simply as The Lost. Official Tibian records
claimed they went mad in the darkness-and though partially true, the real story was far more tragic.
Khîm perished in the collapse, sacrificing himself to save many, including his son. Nanvî survived, orphaned,
bearing only his father's hammer and the legacy of his name.
Fifteen years since the exodus from Beregar, the remaining dwarves built Iorvinas, a settlement carved from
stone and sorrow, constantly threatened by drillworms and other lurking terrors. Nanvî stood as the right hand
of General Ángar, now chieftain of the Lost. Together, they led their kin with resilience and purpose. And for
a time, there was peace.
But peace is often the prelude to ruin.
Obsessed with returning to Beregar, Ángar ordered deeper excavations. At first, Nanvî supported him-but the
deeper they delved, the more twisted things became. Whispers echoed. Dwarves vanished. Nanvî begged
Ángar to stop. He refused, branding any who disobeyed as traitors.
Nobody dared to challenge Ángar's orders, not even Nanvî, so the digging continued.
Eventually, they dug deep enough not to release the horror itself, but to hear its voice. The Basilisk, a terrible
creature whose mere speech unravels the mind, began whispering through the stone. Those who listened fell to
madness and bloodlust. One by one, dwarves lost themselves. Ángar, too, succumbed -yet somehow retained
enough of his will to lead the now-crazed dwarves back to Iorvinas in a frenzy.
What followed was the slaughter of the sane.
All who resisted the Basilisk's influence were hunted down and killed by their own kin. The only survivor was
Nanvî, wounded and barely alive.
He stumbled through long-forgotten mining tunnels and, in a desperate bid for escape, fled riding an old rusted
cart along forgotten rails-guided by chance, luck, and destiny. He emerged in the halls of Kazordoon,
believing for a moment he had reached Beregar.
To his astonishment, many of his old companions were there, alive and thriving in a city forged by Kruzak and
the dwarves who had survived the Great Collapse. By then, Kazordoon had already endured wars with orcs,
survived the Plague, and forged strong alliances with Thais and King Tibianus.
The dwarves of Kazordoon welcomed him as kin, unaware of the quiet sorrow he bore. They were simply glad
he had survived.
Nanvî warned Emperor Kruzak of what he had seen -and what was coming. Years later, the threat materialized:
Ángar and the Lost marched on Kazordoon. Though the city stood firm, every victory was bitter, because these
enemies had once been brothers.
At the height of the war, Nanvî faced Ángar in battle and struck him down. Leaderless, the Lost retreated to
the deep.
But Kazordoon was left weakened.
Two years later, internal rebellion erupted. A faction known as The Axes of Vengeance, long opposed to the
Emperor, rose up in arms. They were led by Jarok, son of Refr -who had once been a hero of the Collapse, a
celebrated warrior in the Orc Wars, and a loyal commander who gave his life fighting the Plague.
Jarok claimed the throne in his father's name.
Civil war nearly tore the city apart. Nanvî fought on the front lines, but victory only came with the timely
arrival of reinforcements from Beregar, who had traveled through the very same tunnels Nanvî had discovered
years before. In single combat, Emperor Kruzak slew Jarok. The captured rebels were exiled to the depths.
Kazordoon began to heal. Clans were born. Peace returned.
But danger never truly vanished.
Among the exiles, most fell under the Basilisk's influence, just as the first Lost had. Those who resisted were
swiftly executed by their own. And from among the corrupted emerged one with will strong enough to lead them:
Skorgrim, a young and cunning dwarf of great power. He reclaimed Iorvinas and renamed his twisted new
clan The Dourhands.
Since then, Skorgrim has plotted from the deep, seeking to one day release the Basilisk and bring both
Kazordoon and Beregar to ruin.
The Legacy of Nanvî, The Lost Hammer
Today, Nanvî is 116 years old.
After the long years of war, he returned to Beregar -his birthplace- where he lived in peace for four well-earned
years. It was a time of quiet reflection and renewed strength.
Now known as The Lost Hammer-not only for the weapon he wields but for what he represents -Nanvî stands
as a symbol of survival, courage, and unyielding resolve. He is the dwarf who escaped madness, who faced his
fallen kin, and who helped save a kingdom from both external destruction and internal despair. He still carries
his father's hammer and watches over the gates of Kazordoon and Beregar with unwavering vigilance.
For he knows the danger below is not gone-only waiting.
A New Oath
Aware of this, Nanvî set out on a new journey. Before departing, he pledged eternal loyalty to both Beregar
and Kazordoon, the cities that gave him purpose. He grew stronger, wiser, and served as a dwarven
ambassador, seeking out distant cities and forging bonds with the finest people in Tibia -alliances meant to face
the horrors beneath.
During these expeditions, he met Lady Sidney Beauclair, of the ancient guild Red Rose -a former Knight of
Banor's Blood and Blademaster of the Guardian Nomads. Once a soldier of the Alliance in Tibia's ancestral
years, she encouraged Nanvî to join their ranks and pledge himself to Red Rose.
Convinced that the guild's purpose is to strengthen goodness in the name of Banor and to aid Tibians in need,
Nanvî knew he had found his place.
And now, should the earth ever break open again...
Nanvî will be there to face whatever rises from the deep.
And this time, he knows he will not stand alone.
4- A personal touch:
Baruk Khazad! Khazad ai-menu!
IRT is not dead, it lives through Durin's will, in the hearts of all dwarves.
