Greetings, Roses,
My name is Rukawi Monk, created in April 2025 on Antica. I do not stand before you as a number, nor as a measure of power, but as a player seeking something meaningful and lasting.
1. Character and Player Information
Rukawi Monk is an Exalted Monk. My playstyle is a mixture: I enjoy bosses and teamhunts, but I also value the social aspect of Tibia deeply. For me, the game has always been about people as much as mechanics.
I have been part of several guilds throughout my journey in Tibia. The one that marked me most was Big Bang Dead around 2012. I was younger then, ambitious, hungry for progress. We were a group of Spaniards who bonded strongly — not just as players, but as people. Since then, I have carried the same colors in Tibia as a reminder of what true companionship feels like.
I have also experienced war guilds in the past. However, that chapter no longer represents who I am today. With time, I have learned that conflict rarely builds anything lasting. I left that mindset behind years ago. Today, I avoid unnecessary conflict — even when it approaches me. Peace is a conscious decision.
Currently, I am in a small guild with four real-life friends. They barely play nowadays, which is one of the reasons I am applying. I am not looking for numbers. I am looking for presence.
A few hours ago in Azzilon, I encountered Theoden and Craazy Fists. We spoke briefly. I appreciated their perspective on Tibia and learned about your Sunday gatherings. That small interaction strengthened my decision to apply.
In real life, my name is Ali. I am 28 years old and live between Andorra and Spain. I am a computer engineer, currently programming industrial machines focused on energy efficiency. Discipline and responsibility are not abstract concepts to me — they are part of my daily life.
Outside Tibia, I value time with friends and family, and I play rugby. Teamwork and resilience are principles I practice both in real life and in-game.
I consider myself organized, empathetic, and persistent. When I set a goal, I pursue it until completion — whether it was finishing university, maintaining training routines, or professional growth. My flaws? I enjoy sleep perhaps more than I should, and I can be stubborn. However, I am always open to constructive criticism. In my profession, feedback is essential for growth. I welcome it.
2. Why I Seek to Join the Red Rose
I have played on Antica for many years. The Red Rose has always been present in the background of its history. Stories of its longevity, of its colors, and of figures from Tibia’s earlier eras have reached me over time.
I seek the Red Rose not because it is old — but because it endured.
Many guilds form quickly and dissolve just as fast. I am looking for something structured, organized, and built on shared values. A brotherhood where presence matters. A guild where entry is earned, not granted casually.
What can I contribute?
Consistency. Order. Initiative. Reliability in hunts and bosses, yes — but also maturity, calmness, and stability within the community. I do not disappear. I do not create drama. I build quietly and steadily.
What makes me different is not a skill or a level. It is mindset. I approach Tibia with long-term vision. After nearly 20 years of playing, I understand that Tibia rewards patience, discipline, and relationships far more than aggression.
I am ready to be tested as a Novicium because anything that has lasted since 1998 deserves to protect its standards.
3. Roleplaying Story – “The Monk and the Withered Banner”
There was once a monk who carried a faded banner across the lands of Tibia.
The banner was old, its colors worn by battles and time. Many mocked him for carrying something so tattered. “Why not seek a brighter flag?” they asked.
The monk would smile.
Years before, he had marched under banners of fire and iron. He had tasted victory and defeat alike. But he learned that banners raised for conquest fall quickly when the wind changes.
So he chose a different path.
He wandered through deserts and forests, through cities and ruins, seeking not the loudest army, but the quietest garden — a place where roots ran deeper than swords.
One evening, as the sun set over Antica, he saw a rose carved into stone. It did not shine. It did not shout. It simply endured.
The monk knelt.
Not because the rose promised power, but because it promised discipline. Not because it guaranteed glory, but because it required patience.
He folded his faded banner and waited — not to be crowned, but to be tested.
For he had learned that the strongest colors are those that survive time.
4. Readiness for Noviciumship
I understand that Noviciumship lasts at least five months, often longer. I understand that I will be assigned tasks by a Mentor and the Magister Noviciorum. I understand that these tasks may involve roleplay, powergaming objectives, organization, or written work.
Deadlines matter. Standards matter.
In my professional life, failure to meet standards has consequences. That mentality transfers to everything I commit to. If I am accepted as a Novicium, I will approach it with seriousness and consistency.
I do not expect protection from difficulty. I expect fairness and evaluation.
5. Personal Touch
Tibia has been part of nearly my entire life. It accompanied me through adolescence, ambition, growth, and maturity. Today it is not an obsession — it is a place of calm, reflection, and shared experience.
Over the years, I learned that progress is best achieved grain by grain. That happiness in Tibia, as in life, is built slowly.
To belong to something ancient is an honour. If accepted, I see myself within Red Rose not for months — but for years.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
