Xah're´s Application [Accepted]

About me
My real name is Kristofer, I'm 22 years old and I live in Helsingborg, Sweden. I'm a real geek who plays around a lot with computers and web-development which also is one of my favorite hobbies. I also have some "non-geeky" hobbies such as photography, music and watching TV-series like Lost, Heroes and How I met your mother to name a few. I currently, and have been for the past year, work as a warehouse worker at a distribution unit for Sweden's largest grocery store chain.
My Tibian life
I started playing Tibia back in 2001-2002 when my dear friend Black Falcon told me about the game and since then I've played on a number of characters and worlds. I've mostly played on Antica and I've always felt that Antica is my home world even though I moved to Premia for a few years as a friend of mine wanted to get away from all the wars at Antica and didn't want to play alone. After he retired I tried to play on new worlds such as Galana and Pandoria when they first were launched but always found my way back to Antica.
In early 2008 I decided to give Tibia and Antica another try after a one year break and created the character Xah're. Since then I've, as always, played the game fair and peacefully. I've tried to stay away from blood as much as possible as I don't like the taste nor the smell of it. If my memory doesn't fail me the character Xah're has only killed one player since his birth.
My relationship with the Red Rose
Red Rose is one of the first guilds I can remember and it is a guild that I've always respected. I think it's time for me to join a guild as walking the lands of Antica guildless is becoming harder and harder. As I'm a peaceful player who like to play the game it was intended there's sadly very few guilds for me these days and Red Rose would be one of them.
A story about a young adventures first shield
I saw the lands of Rookgaard for the first time and had a look around at the beautiful temple surrounding me. I then noticed a monk dressed in brown approaching me and greeted me welcome to the world of Tibia. His name was Cipfried and we talked for a while about all sorts of things. After a while it was time for me to start my journey by exploring Rookgaard. Cipfried gave me some advice, some basic equipment, a torch and an apple before he waved me goodbye. I stepped outside the temple and saw a few houses in-front of me, a mountain to my left and open water to my right with some landmass in the horizon that I later recognized as Thais.
I walked north to the houses and noticed a sewer grate which Cipfried had told me about. I climbed down the sewer to find nothing but darkness, or so I thought. I lit my torch to see if there was anything lurking in the darkness and found some rats roaming around looking peaceful at first, but once they noticed my presence they started to attack me. I panicked and started to swing my club all over the place but quickly learned how to handle the club in a more efficient way dealing more damage. After a long fight resulting in the death of several rats I found myself heavily wounded and in bad health. I picked up the apple I received from Cipfried and took one huge bite after another until there were nothing left. I slowly felt better as my body absorbed the energy from the apple.
At this point I realized that I would need a shield to protect myself from future wounds and survive in this world. I didn't have enough gold to buy one yet but I had heard that Willie bought meat for two gold pieces each. I started my search for some sheeps which I could extract some meat from. After a quick search I found a field full of them. They looked so harmless and lovely with all their wool. But I didn't let that stop me, I were in need of some gold to survive. I knew I would have to make it quick and painless to stop myself from bursting into tears. After killing all the helpless and harmless sheeps I felt horrible but continued by fleshing some meat of their bones. I took my meat and headed of to Willie's with a bad feeling in my stomach after what I've just done. Willie seamed used to this behavior though and didn't even ask me were I got the meat from which was a huge relief as I would be too ashamed to tell him what I've just done.
I finally had enough money to get my very first shield and walked back into town searching for a shopkeeper selling shields. I found a shopkeeper called Obi but he did not sell any shields. However, he recommended me to go upstairs to his granddaughter Dixi who sold shields and armors. He told me that she didn't sell any weapons as he doesn't want her to handle sharp and pointy items. After a quick chit-chat I walked upstairs to find Dixi. We talked for a bit and I asked her what she recommended. She told me about the cheap wooden shield and the more expensive and better studded shield. Once I heard about the studded shield I knew I wanted one. I didn't care about the price, I had enough money to buy it and even have some spare money left if I were in need of anything else. I tried holding this heavy shield and I felt that this is the shield for me and quickly paid Dixi the 50 gold pieces before I changed my mind.
I said goodbye to Dixi and walked downstairs and out on the streets to continue my journey, but that's another story...
